PREP

I am so thrilled to be the new Director of Religious Education at St. Simon Parish.  For those who don’t know me, I have been a member of St. Simon since it was formed in 1966 and a catechist for over 10 years, teaching children in our Religious Education Program and watching them grow in our faith over the years.

This is a very exciting time for me preparing for the upcoming year with new ideas to get our children involved in their parish.  We are sponsoring a Vacation Bible School this summer; we want to get the youth of our parish interested in joining together to continue to grow in their faith; we plan to serve our special needs students so that they too can learn and grow in their faith.

I am looking for volunteers to help with our mission, including (but not limited to) teaching, helping in the classroom, assisting with administrative work, Vacation Bible School, special projects.  Please let me know that you are interested in volunteering.
